Operation swinging

In the 4th  of May 1945 the German army  surrendered to the English forces in the Northern Germany. The story of this diorama depicts the return of a group of surrendered Germans with the escort of some English infantry men.In a brief stop the miller offers his fellow citizens a proper lunch while a German and an English infantry man constructs a swing under the kids surveillance.A symbolic action for some peace at last in Europe.
Some photos of the finished diorama. Ready for swinging...

  4. There are no words to describe the beauty of this diorama. Every thing, every figure, the mill, the miller, the half-track, the soldiers, the child ..... all perfectly in place and of course all well painted.
